Mission Health

Hi again!

Same blog, different location... AGAIN. As you may have seen, my first blog post was originally posted to a free website I created with 'Weebly' however, I soon realised that you cannot follow Weebly blogs, so you wouldn't know when the next blog would be posted! I then thought about posting them on Tumblr, but I want to keep my Tumblr blog for creative things such as photography and photos of cute kittens etc. Then I remembered I had created a Blogger account last year and it has never been used, so here we are!

So now that's out of the way, I can talk about the main topic of this blog (oops nearly said video!).

I touched on this subject in my previous post but want to go into this in more detail now. I said how I was trying to be 'healthy' eat a bit better. So far this is going quite well if I do say so myself... I haven't given in and had the remainder of my Easter eggs or ice cream in the freezer... Yet.
I've just been very determined and keep saying to myself 'it'll all be worthwhile.. #summerbody2k15' over and over again when I feel like I'm about to cry because I'm deprived from a certain cocoa bean. ANYWAYS, I thought I'd maybe blog what I'm eating each day, as it may motivate me to not eat anything bad as otherwise I'd have to write it on here. I don't really know to be honest what I'm doing still but here we go....

Monday
Breakfast: Weeatabix
Lunch: Chicken Wrap, Banana
Dinner: Chinese Pork & Noodles

Tuesday
Breakfast: Banana & Blueberry Smoothie
Lunch: Cous Cous
Dinner: Cod, Jacket Potato, Carrots & Sweetcorn

Wednesday
Breakfast: Banana, Blueberry & Muesli Smoothie (Check out me making this here)
Lunch: Noodles
Dinner: Chicken, Jacket potato, Kale & Sweetcorn
(plus ONE Oreo to accompany me whilst reading Carrie's book. I promise it was only one.)

Thursday
Breakfast: Weeatabix
Lunch: Chicken Wrap, Banana
Dinner: Spaghetti Bolognese

Friday
Breakfast: Weeatabix
Lunch: Ham Wrap, Grapes
Dinner: Chicken & Pasta

800ml of Cucumber or Orange water a day + tea & coffee

Okay so looking back at that now it's written down, I'm seeing a lot of carbs and probably not enough veg (green veg in particular)... oh. And also half of it sounds really stupid, but hopefully it'll get better as the weeks go on!

First Blog Post

So… I’ve started a blog? This is obviously going to be an awkward post as it’s my first, just like my first vlog on YouTube (please don’t make me think about that). I’m not expecting many people to read this, if any, but I thought I would start this to compliment my vlogs but in written form. 
So what have I been up to?
I’ve recently been inspired by YouTuber Connor Franta with his debut book, a memoir, titled ‘A Work in Progress’. It was delivered to me around midday today. It’s currently 9pm and I’m already half way through reading it, it’s THAT good. I’m not sure why it’s caused me to not put it down; the ever so 'Tumblr style’ design with photos, comical moments and I think the short chapters are really appealing to me as I’m not a big reader, so I can pick it up and put it down as I please (although not much putting down has happened yet). This book is probably the reason I’m writing this blog now, even though I’m not quite at the stage of writing a book, it HAS inspired me to write! There will be a full review going up on my channel once I’ve finished reading it!
In other news, I’ve attempted the whole 'healthy living’ thing for about the 9,000th time since Christmas. However, this time it’s sort of working for me. I’m taking it one day at a time and trying to convince myself that chocolate doesn’t exist. I’m thinking about making a YouTube video on what I’ve been eating and drinking to stay healthy the past couple of weeks but if not I’ll make a future post about it on here.
I think thats enough of me waffling for now, so I’ll leave you with the link to my latest video all about my bad habits, which was uploaded yesterday.
